Basic mathematical concepts up to 8th grade mathematics.
Most sections do not require any technology. However for a few sections having access to a calculator will be pragmatic. If you are already taking the course in High School then just use the calculator assigned to you. If you are going to take the course I would suggest finding out which calculator the school uses first so you do not end up buying two calculators for the course. If money is not an object then a viable calculator to use is the Texas Instrument TI-83 Plus.
