BEAT Depression – start living again.
At the end of the Course students will have a better understanding of Depression and why sufferers feel the way they do.
They will learn how to either Self Analyse how they feel in each of 10 feelings or support a sufferer who needs to do it for themselves.
Once they have completed the Course and had some time to put into practice the recommendations they will begin to put together their own personal strategy for their recovery.
Family and Friends, if they work with the sufferer will understand much better how they can be of help and support the sufferer.

Students do not need any prior knoweldge or understanding of Depression.
They may find it useful to have a pad of paper and a pen handy so they can make notes as the Course progresses
Two of the Handout’s are aimed primarily at the Sufferer although the Family and Friends will find all three of the Hand-outs useful.
Hand-outs 1 and 3 are designed to be used and completed by the sufferer to support their journey back to well being. But this is only after they have completed the Course.
Hand-out 2 is aimed at the Family and Friends and is information and doesn’t require anything to be written on them.
