Learning Outcome 1

The objectives (what will you be able to do after taking this course) are embedded in metacognitive activities…which simply means that each lesson is presented in a way that will enable you to internalize what you have learned and thereby use these internalized indices to move toward result based solutions. Metacognition activates the style in which a learner will process information; and, metacognitive PILLARS are included in each lesson to help direct you. Each individual lesson is presented with three metacognitive, foundational PILLARS: PILLAR 1 - a set of soft skills that can cross-cut any venue and help you make the necessary first impression; PILLAR 2 - a request for reflective activities that push the leaner to reasonably effect some action to move on to the next goal; and, PILLAR - 3 citations of on-line websites to increase awareness, offer assistance, and add options.
