Students will be able to create a finished Tropical Bird artwork of their own design!
Students will gain a basic understanding of using in-expensive materials to create a meaningful artwork
Students will learn basic techniques of water-color painting and pencil drawing
Students will feel more confident in experimenting with their own original artworks
Students will have a basic understanding of shape, form, texture and Depth/Space

Students should be able to hold and easily maneuver basic art tools such as a brush, pencil and eraser
Crayola Watercolor Set (8 or 16 colors) with brush, mixing tray, water-cup and paper-towel
Basic Writing or Drawing Pencil
A few sheets of white, thick, 9×12 paper, such as watercolor paper, super heavy-weight drawing paper, bristol board, tag board or cardstock (can substitute 9×12 paper with 8.5 x 11 cardstock, Do Not Use Copy Paper, it is too thin for this project)
A sharpie marker, or similar small point black marker
