Review of circuit analysis techniques such as node-voltage or mesh-current analysis.
Review of Thevenin and Norton’s theorems.
Characteristics and modeling of semiconductor diodes.
Simulation of Diode Circuits using NI Multisim.
Multisim, Excel and Matlab integration.

You should be familiar with linear circuit analysis techniques such as KVL, KCL, mesh and nodal analysis. However, these methods are reviewed at the first chapter.
You should be familiar with basic linear components such as resistors, capacitors and inductors.
In this part you will learn more commands in MATLAB. So it is assumed that you are already familiar with MATLAB interface and basic commands.
Having a trial version of MATLAB and Multisim softwares is recommended. (You can use a scientific calculator for mathematical calculations instead of using MATLAB)
You should have basic familiarity with calculus and linear algebra.
