How to Conduct Effective Performance Evaluations

In this course, students will learn about the guiding principles and the systems that will help achieve successful performance evaluations with their staff. Performance management is an important skill every manager needs to learn and understanding the various components of performance evaluations, also known as performance reviews or performance appraisals, is critical. By the end of this course, managers and even employees who complete this course will be able to efficiently gather the information needed, assess an employee's work performance and easily write the formal evaluation. In addition, the techniques of how to conduct the performance discussion and handle tricky situations is covered.
