In this class students are going to learn about the basic steps involved in a mixed media art project, by creating a set of four mixed media postcards.

This class does not require any previous knowledge and is perfect for beginners to mixed media art. However, any students who have worked with mixed media before, could take this course, if they were looking for a new project or some inspiration. The tools needed for this class are: simple paint brushes, cutting mat and craft knife or a pair of scissors, PVA glue, glue stick, stamps and stencils (optional), household objects like bottle tops, bubble wrap etc that can be used as stamps, China marker or black crayon and your favourite pens. Some of the materials include, simple white card stock, paints (eg emulsion, acrylic, poster), papers eg old books pages, maps, tissue paper, used envelopes etc.
