About This Course
The course is intended for students who want to excel in their A-Level or IB Calculus section as well as to those encountering the topic for the first time and find it difficult to understand. In this course I am going to explain in detail integration calculus within the scope required by A-Level and IB programs. Both the first and second year of the programs will be covered.
We will first (in section 1) learn definitions, purpose of constant as well as basic integration. Then, in section 2 we will move to definite integrals and their purpose, as well as geometrical meaning of integration. In the third section, we will progress into more advanced second year techniques like integration by parts, partial fractions, integration by substitution, cyclical integrals, as well as reversed chain rule.
Finally (section 4), we are going to discuss how to solve simple differential equations using separation of variables method. During explanations, we will touch the most frequent mistakes made by students and discuss how to avoid them. By the end of the course, you should acquire a first understanding of integration and be able to confidently do the related exercises during your tests and exams.
Good luck.
