Real estate parcels, such lots in a development, are commonly represented using parcel objects in Autodesk Civil 3D. Other characteristics having closed bounds, such as water bodies and soil regions, can also be represented by parcel objects. A closed polygon defines a parcel boundary.
Nodes are the intersections of line segments. Line and curve segments are the two different sorts. Each parcel includes an area label that describes the entire parcel.
To choose the parcel, click the area label. Segment labels and related tables that display information about the parcel are also possible for a parcel. User-defined property fields may be present in labels.
Each parcel keeps records of its nodes, segments, and the area they enclose. The parcel properties are dynamically updated when editing parcel portions. One parcel may merge with another as a result of the deletion of a segment.
