Did you know that 1st Grade academic outcomes can predict high school academic outcomes. Many 1st Grade students are lacking key foundational skills when they begin the 1st Grade - this puts them at a major academic disadvantage which can affect the rest of their academic career. Learning these essential foundation skills will ensure your child remains on-track.

In this course, your child will learn how to remember the difference between common letter reversals (b,d,p,q,w,m,u,y), how to use reading strategies to figure out tricky words, and how to edit. Learners will also build confidence with their decoding skills through fun blending and segmenting opportunities. These colorful and interactive lessons are live video recordings in which an animated & positive Ms.

Bree will teach your child as if they're with her in real time. Ms. Bree anticipates student needs and asks them questions as they complete fun and focused activities throughout the video lessons.
