About This Course
In this final level of the Print Design course, you will transition from learning to doing. It's time to build your print design portfolio, showcasing the skills you've developed across typography, layout, color, and production. Whether you're looking to land freelance work, a full-time job, or simply improve your client pitch, a strong portfolio is your most powerful tool.
This level centers around real-world briefs and case studies. You'll work on 3-4 full projects such as a brand catalog, a product packaging set, a promotional flyer series, or a magazine layout. Each project simulates client interactions-from interpreting the brief and developing concept directions to executing final designs and preparing files for print.
You'll also receive feedback simulation exercises, guiding you on how to revise and improve work based on client or print house input. Emphasis is placed on creating files that are not just beautiful, but also technically correct and ready for production. Students will learn how to present their work using professional mockups, write project rationales, and assemble everything into a polished portfolio-whether for Behance, PDF delivery, or print interviews.
We'll also cover how to describe your process and sell your expertise effectively. By the end of this level, you will graduate with a complete print design portfolio that communicates your vision, creativity, and attention to technical detail-key elements for any successful print designer.
