About This Course
In this course, we will start our journey with the story of fat digestion and absorption in the intestines, all the way to how our body cells utilize the absorbed chylomicron units. We will tell the story of how fat is synthesized and packaged as lipoproteins after eating a high carbohydrate meal. Then we will look at what happens to fats & lipids metabolism when we are in a fasting stateTo teach this in a very interesting manner, we have divided this course into four (5) sections with about eighteen (18) lecture videos arranged in four (4) sections with the fifth section set aside to review clinical case questions.
