We use the Scratch platform to test out your fundamental theories which are covered in the course. The scratch language and website are both block-based visual programming languages aimed at beginners as learning tools. Scratch is used as the introductory language because the creation of interesting programs is relatively easy, and skills learned can be applied to other programming languages such as Python and Java.

A basic understanding of computer programming is the goal of this course, as well as the ability to create basic computer programs for problem-solving.
