Reproduction in Biology: An introductory course

In this course students will learn what is sex determination in various living forms, on what factors sex/ gender of an organism depends. Also students gain understanding and life long learning on how this is different in different organisms. Some special systems are discussed in the course, which are quite interesting.

In this course you will find the XY system in Humans and mammals, ZW, XO system is discussed here, special system of sex determination in order Hymenoptera is discussed. Here you will understand how different alleles or genes on chromosomes, or combination of different chromosomes affects the gender of an organism.
