Built by Google for large web applications, Angular arrives complete: routing, forms, HTTP, testing and dependency injection are part of the package rather than choices left to the team. Enterprises with big front-end teams value that uniformity. Its reputation for heaviness dates partly from older versions; recent releases added signals and a leaner component model, so older criticism deserves a second look.
