Amazon's cloud arrived first and remains the largest, with a catalogue of more than two hundred services spanning compute, storage, databases, networking and AI. Cloud engineers, solution architects and start-ups building from scratch meet it most often, and its Well-Architected Framework shapes how cloud design is taught. The breadth overwhelms beginners, though a handful of core services carry most real workloads.
