Cisco Packet Tracer

A free download for anyone who enrols with Cisco Networking Academy, Packet Tracer simulates routers, switches and end devices so learners can cable, configure and troubleshoot a network on a laptop. CCNA candidates do most of their lab practice in it. It imitates Cisco IOS rather than running the real thing, so some commands and features that physical equipment accepts are simply missing.
