Kali Linux

Preconfigured for security work, Kali Linux is a Debian-based distribution that ships with the penetration tester's usual toolkit, from Nmap and Burp Suite to password crackers and forensics utilities, and runs on virtual machines, cloud images, ARM boards and WSL. Students of offensive security and professional testers use it as their workbench. It is a toolbox, not a skill, and makes a poor everyday desktop.
