Metasploit

Metasploit bundles a large library of exploits, payloads and post-exploitation modules into one framework, so a tester can move from a known vulnerability to a working proof of compromise in a few commands. The open-source edition is developed with Rapid7, which also sells Metasploit Pro. Beginners treat it as point-and-shoot hacking; exams and real engagements reward understanding what each module does to its target.
