Adobe Photoshop

Photographers, retouchers and digital artists have worked in Photoshop for so long that its name became a verb for altering images. It excels at pixels: retouching, compositing, masking and, lately, AI-generated fills. Newcomers try to use it for everything, yet logos belong in a vector tool such as Illustrator, page layouts in InDesign, and interface design has moved to Figma.
