Rust

Rust promises the speed of C++ without its memory bugs, enforcing safe use of memory at compile time through an ownership model instead of a garbage collector. Systems programmers, browser and operating-system teams and builders of infrastructure tools are adopting it. The learning curve is real: the compiler rejects code other languages would accept, and the first weeks feel like arguing with it.
