Spring Boot
Spring Boot takes the sprawling Spring framework and makes it start with sensible defaults, an embedded server and almost no configuration, which is why it is the usual starting point for a new Java back end. Enterprise developers build REST services and microservices with it daily. The convenience rests on auto-configuration; when something misbehaves, you need to know what Spring decided on your behalf.
