Understanding Anesthesia plays a vital role in the overall patient management, be it an Inpatient or Outpatient clinic. As you can imagine, no one likes pain/ and more so a patient who already is suffering from some disease condition, would for sure not like pain. This is where Anesthesia plays a vital and significant role.

For a general population, Anesthesia looks like some quantum physics which is hard to decipher and left for the specialists. But it is not hard. Trust me.

I will make it easy to decipher. This course is designed to give you insights into the most vital part of Anesthesia. This vital part, Anatomy for Anesthesia, is something that most of us can make sense of and understand to a good extent.

There comes a Pharmacology part which of course will need to have a very different and detailed study to understand that art and there is the expertise needed for that. Understanding what is anesthesia, what are the different types of anesthesia and what we can ask for from our treating physician, will give us some sense of understanding and responsibility to ease our own pain.
